Cathal O Reilly

As alway, I feel its our behaviours and habits that play a massive part in the climate crisis. We also can only control what we do. Unfortunately, we can't change the petrochemical or fossil fuel industry overnight but we can each change our behaviours.

This is our World War III and you know what I feel can help turn the tide, Integrity.

Behaviours, habits. Simple. www.Narcissips.com

Narcissips made it to TV! Thank you Ireland AM

Cathal O Reilly

Many moons ago, my Granny aka "The Granny" was always telling me to slow down as I fought time each day trying to balance building Narcissips each evening after the normal 9-5 as a "Dodgy" bored Accountant.

I use to joke back saying "it'll be all worth it when I get Narcissips on TV to help Ireland realise the benefits of reusables". Little did I know it would actually happen and at the perfect time being the best Christmas present a little boy could ask for making all the hours worthwhile :)

The Real Issue regarding the Plastic Problem in Ireland!

Cathal O Reilly

A question I am often posed is, Reilly, "Sure aren't plastic bottles recyclable so what is the deal"?

The simple answer in my mind is yes, you're correct. Plastic or even the new cardboard water bottles / containers are recyclable. But the issue is for the most part, they aren't getting recycled properly.

While plastic has been demonised lately, I believe human behaviour deserves a lot of the blame.

We are the ones that unfortunately aren't recycling properly, or discard our waste incorrectly that leads to plastic plaguing our environment.

The quick and easy solution, avoid where possible or maybe even join Team Narcissips with our reusables that benefit our pockets, health and the environment.

For more insights, please watch and let me know what you think.

Your Intro to plastics and why Irish Reusable bottles from Narcissips are here to help!

Cathal O Reilly

Narcissips Irish Reusables provides an Intro to plastics over the years from its initial conception, many uses in today's modern world that we can't live without, to it's demonisation and how ultimately, the people are the problem with our poor choices and habits!

By writing this piece, I hope to highlight that plastic isn't always the problem in an attempt to raise awareness of how we, the people, need to choose reusable bottles and live more consciously to improve the plastic problem in Ireland and across the world.

Many thanks, Cathal O'Reilly

Started in March 2018 by trainee accountant Cathal O’Reilly, Narcis’sips offers a “sustainably focused product, at a sustainable price”.

As we become more environmentally aware, one trend that has emerged and reached an all-time high is the demand for reusable water bottles.

Bottles come in different sizes and can cost anything from €10 to €50, but one Irish company might offer the best value for money.

Start-up Spotlight - Narcissips Reusables, with thanks to Alex Lohier

Cathal O Reilly

We all know that single-use plastic is detrimental to the environment, some to a greater degree than others perhaps. However, in Ireland, avoiding using single-use plastics can be challenging at best, not to mention expensive. Nonetheless, the tides are slowly turning and one Irish company playing a part in this movement is Narcis’sips, a company offering affordable reusable cups and bottles founded in 2018 by Cathal O’Reilly.
