The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 goals adopted by the UN General Assembly several years ago in 2015.

The main aim and goal was to provide the framework at which we could work towards achieving a more sustainable future for all whether they be in the developed or developing world.

The goals cover a huge range of areas impacted by sustainability covering issues across social, environmental and economic aspects of life.

For example, social issues include poverty, hunger, health, education and gender equality. Environmental issues will cover climate change, and the broad range of impacts that can have across the world and economical issues in terms of energy and providing the funding to assist with ensuring people have access to the infrastructure required to develop and prosper as humans.

Here at Narcissips, we focus on making our impact across Sustainable Development Goals 4, 6 and 12 in helping hundreds access education, thousands access clean water and avoid single-use plastics. Each order directly contributes to providing the tuition fees or funds to construct a well across the developing world with water and education being two things we feel we as individuals in Ireland can take for granted.

In having being lucky enough to receive my own education via grants and scholarships, I have seen first hand the impact it has had on transforming my own life, and would love for you to check out our blogs and website home page which discusses our impact and how you can partner with us, to make a difference.
